 To start a college or course in any part of India, trust/society should obtain approvals from government and affiliations from universities/boards and if applicable approval from regulating bodies likes AICTE, MCI, DCI etc based on the course type. Hence Collect a copy of approvals & visit the websites to know the actual status.

 2. Accreditation status:

Find out the accreditation status. Prefer Accredited Institutions.

3. Fee structure:

 Find out the exact fee structure of the college including all possible costs per semester/year. Be clear with your limitations and if you are planning for an Education Loan, well in advance visit the bank to find out the eligibility criteria.

 4. Reputation of the college with respect to teaching faculty:

 It is mandatory for every college to display the list of teaching faculty on the college website. Visit the college website to know the status. Discuss with your friends, seniors, Current students about faculty and the teaching learning activities.

 5. Placement history:

 Find out the on campus and off campus recruitments. Visit the College Placement Cell.

 6. Infrastructure and learning facilities:

 Please visit the college. At the time of visit request for a brief Infrastructure orientation. Observe the classrooms, sitting arrangements, laboratories, library, Placement cell etc. You may lose little money in the initial stages, but a visit is worth millions.

Find out the previous years pass percentage. It is often difficult to know the exact Picture.

Over the years lot of developments are happening in India. Economic growth is seen. Industries have come up. Erratic growth of reality sector has addressed housing issues to some extent. People are having jobs. Plenty of opportunities for earning. Young graduates are getting jobs without much wait. Campus recruitments are happening in most of the colleges. India has changed. As a result of these changes agriculture ,higher education and research have taken a beating.

The present scenario is, a young graduate gets a job while he is still at college .Once after joining, he dreams of having his own house, vehicle. He is into debts and works sincerely to pay the installments for life  and  forgets higher education and lives with a scare to clear the installments. What follows is marriage, children and family.Formal Higher education is a dream.This is how most of the engineering graduates live.

I am not telling that students should not join for jobs immediately after graduation. My point is that  many families are not dependent on their children earnings. Such families should encourage their children to pursue  higher education. Parents should talk to their children and convince them for higher education and vice-versa. Unfortunately in India Higher education means going abroad or enrolling for a MBA course. One thing is sure Higher education always lightens the mind and soul.

In India we don’t have adequate learning opportunities for those who are in jobs.Many bogus institutions are running correspondence courses and minting money. Proper Measures are required from government to address these issues in an effective way.

Hence Prepare for future with higher education .Person with higher education is always respected and preferred in our society. Higher education strengthens the analytical skills. Hence aim for higher education.

1. Talk to your parents about your failure openly .Remember every parent wants his child to excel in studies. Expect emotional outburst from your parents. It is a common behavior. Accept it. After all they have spent lot of money and time for your education. This is the first and important step to overcome failure.
2. Analyze and discuss the reasons for failure with support system like parents, teachers, seniors and this will help to pool the resources in a better way.
3. Introspect yourself about the commitment level and willingness to bend body and mind for finding success.
4. Set realistic goals and make use of the resources in a smart way.
5. Have plan B in case of one more failure.
6. Consult a Psychiatrist if necessary to overcome anxiety.

If you’re doing your best, you won’t have any time to worry about failure.

Remember, your family loves you a lot. Don’t lose them.

I am always fascinated about human will power. Will power is the strength to act. It is confidence ,not over confidence. It is self belief. It is acting to achieve the desired goal. It is competition.

Any  Student with determination and  Proper utilization of resources can achieve the best.

It is quite natural to have some sort of fear.

Fear can be a driving force or destructive force.

Excess fear affects day to day activities. How to overcome this fear? Exam fear may be because of variety of reasons like, over expectation from Parents and relatives,Lack of subject knowledge, lack of time to prepare, peer pressure, physiological causes, accidents etc. You can give thousands of reasons for failures.

 Success means different to different students. Hence fear is subjective. To enjoy success

First of all, you must want to learn. If you are not interested in learning English, no class will help you, no book will help you, and no hints will make it easier. It is better for you to set English aside until you're ready and willing to learn. Motivate yourself.

o     Do 10 minutes listening practice every day.

      The more you expose yourself to English, the more you get used to it and the more familiar it becomes to you. You will start to recognize what sounds right and what sounds wrong. You will also start to understand why certain words or phrases are used instead of others, and you will start to use them in your own conversations and writing. English will start to become a habit, and little by little you will find it easier to use English.

If you make friends with some English speaking students, you will find that they can be a very valuable help in your learning English. Having English speaking friend’s means that you will find yourself in situations where you have no choice but to speak English. Yet since they are your friends, you will be doing things you enjoy together with them. So these situations will probably have little or no stress. Friendships  with English speaking students also means that you'll have someone whom you can ask questions regarding language, culture, the suburbs, and so on.

Regular study is a key to success in learning a language. Finally, it is important to recognize that you will improve as you study English. Sometimes when you set your goals, they seem very difficult. Progress comes little by little, so it's hard to see if you have grown in your language skills.
